Slo gay bar

It is situated in the notorious Metelkova district among with other alternative clubs. The club also provides space for regular meetings, parties, debates, exhibitions, festival events, literature event, round tables etc. Forget the bus, Metelkova district is only 15 minutes walk from the heart of the downtown.

If you arrive by car, you can park on the surrounding streets for free. The place is really small, it is divided to two rooms. The first room on the right just after the cloakroom is Monokel Club, the lesbian scene of the place. There are some harder house and techno musics pumping and you can have some drinks from the smaller bar in the fond of the room.

The larger slo is more gay, with international pop and dance hits in the beginning, mixed with local and traditional Balkan songs as gay night advances. While smoking is prohibited in Slovenia in closed premises, from time to time some people smoke their cigarettes near Monokel room. There are some big issues with the cleanliness.
