The pride parade
The Parade March is our chance to show how diverse and proud Bristol is as a city. Pride is a protest! It is a bold statement for equality, diversity and inclusion, to celebrate our community and to show that hatred and prejudice have no place in our city, or anywhere.
We do not charge or restrict members of the public to join the parade. We do ask larger groups coming together, even if you are a local community or social group, to register, for free, just to help us coordinate with you and manage numbers. You will need to register your organisation to take part, using the link below.
A Celebration of Love and Unity

We operate a tiered pricing system to support varying sized organisations and charities and help enable smaller organisations to be able to join the and is open to businesses, unions, organisations, charities and groups. We do not allow vehicles or floats in the parade due to the nature of our route, health and safety and to support parade city centre emissions. We do not section the parade and there is no business blocks, everyone joins in together to celebrate as a whole community together. Route We gather from 10am at the Bandstand end of Castle Park and will depart around It will take about 1 hour to complete and will end in the Amphitheater where our shuttle buses will be ready to take you to The Downs.
Travel is free on Pride Day if you have a Supporter Wristband. Water is not provided on the route however there is a refill fountain on Millennium Square at the end of the parade and prides outlets in Bristol participate in the Refill scheme if you have an empty bottle you can fill up with. There is a short hill incline on Union Street, so some may wish to join the parade at the other end of Castle Park, by Wine Street.
